Christmas was the bomb!

This year Christmas was one of the best it has been. Kellan got to spend some quality time with both sets of grandparents including aunts, uncles and soon to be cousins. Enjoy these next few pictures of Kellan's Christmas.

More winter fun

Kellan got to meet Santa for the 2nd time this weekend. Tim's work holds a Christmas party for the kids every year. All you have to do is buy a $20 gift and they reimburse you. Pretty nice huh?

We also went to a friends house for dinner on Friday and they have a little girl about 6 months older than Kellan. Here is Kellan loving Ava's dolly stroller.

It's Winter Time!!

Our little monster has become quite the climber lately. One of his current favorite things to do is climb up on the chair and sit and relax. Sometimes he'll sit there and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, other times he'll sit there waiting for us to find him. Either way, he looks so adorable sitting there.

We got snow for the first time about 2 weeks ago, but nothing significant. Then about 2 days ago we got a little bit more, so we decided to let Kellan hang outside with daddy while he shovelled the driveway.

I certainly hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Kellan's 2nd Thanksgiving was good. He wasn't really into the turkey, mashed potatoes or stuffing, but he did enjoy some pumpkin pie and whipped cream.

It's hard to tell from this picture of Kellan, but it was so cute, he kept putting his hands in his pockets of his vest and looked so cute. He loved that vest and wanted to wear it even over his camo jammies.

The night before Thanksgiving my high school besties and I did our annual gathering. I love that I've been out of high school for 9 years and every time we get together it's like we've never been apart.

Meeting Santa

Santa was already in the mall so we took full advantage of the short line and introduced Kellan. He actually got to meet the Mr. and Mrs. He did great too .He never once fussed or even tried to get down.

Got a new Job

Yep. That's why I have been neglecting this sight. My new job keeps me EXTREMELY busy. I'm in my second week and am already doing overtime. I really like my new job, it's just really stressful so I find myself needing to go to bed right after Kellan goes down.

I really miss all of the ladies I used to work with, but my boss was a complete jerk and we clashed in every way. 

So since I'm working in a different town, that means different daycare for Kellan. It's not going so well so far. The day he was suppose to start he got pink eye (in both eyes) so he missed his first day.

Changing the subject. Here is one of Kellans favorite new games to play with daddy.

How can you not when they look this good.

Kellan did a great job trick or treating. His neighbor friend Chase (the monkey) came along as we went from house to house. The only bad thing is that now we have all of this extra candy and guess who is going to eat it??......ME!!!

No, I feed myself Ma Ma

Lately Kellan has been wanting to feed himself, which is great. It's a lot messier and takes longer, but he has to learn sometime. Here is just a short clip of him trying. My camera card was full so it I didn't get much footage.

Pumpkin Picking

Last weekend we finally got around to getting our pumpkins. We went with some good friends of ours who are actually due with their 2nd child in 10 days. What a trooper she was stomping around the field to find that perfect pumpkin. The weather has been so great for October in Wisconsin. It reached 80 degrees that day.

First Haircut

I was so proud to be Kellan's Mommy today during his haircut. He sat like such a nice boy just looking and pointing in the mirror at himself. It was only about a 6 minute trim. I also was sure to save some of his hair. I'll probably never do anything with it, but it's the memories that counts. Here is me and my little guy today.

I stole

An idea from another blogger. I've had Kellan's Halloween costume for about a month now. Jenny, from Adventure of Two Under Two, I'm sorry I stole your cheeseburger costume idea. When I saw it, I thought, how cute is that.  I'm super excited for Kellan to walk up and down our neighborhood looking at all of the other costumes. Whose That Cutie on the Pumpkin?

Why Kellan of course. My parents have these huge pumpkins at their house so I took the opportunity to snap some shots of my cutie pie!

On a side note. We had a good friend get hit by a car last weekend. They had to amputate his left leg and now we just found out that they took his right leg tonight. I know many of you don't know him, but please keep him in your prayers.

Weekend Updates

Kellan took a nasty dig the other day at daycare. He smacked his face right on the corner of the rocking chair. I was told he was pretty brave though and didn't cry to hard.

I also have to show off his pimp outfiit. Here is Kellan with his Puma gear on and New Balance shoes.

Kellan also got to see his wife over the weekend, yes he has a pre-arranged marriage already planned. :)

Tim and I had a wedding this weekend too. We went with some good friends of ours. She is due in 6 weeks and looks great!

1 Year photos

About 2 weeks ago we had a great friend take our family pictures and Kellan's 1 year pictures. Em is so amazing, we've used her for all of our milestones. She took our engagement pictures, wedding pictures, maternity pictures, Kellans 3 month and now 1 year pictures.  Check out M Photography for a sneak peek of our pictures. Walking Proof

I'm a mom of a 1 year old

I still can't get over that. Where has this year gone? It seems like I blinked my eyes and now he's one. Some big milestones happened in the past 2 days. It's like he knew he was turning one because he started walking.....that's right. He takes up to 7,8,9 steps at a time. He's still a little wobbly, but I can't believe it. His favorite word to say is hot dog. It kind of sounds like ot doooogggg, but it's so cute. Here are some pictures of his 1st birthday.
