29 Weeks

Nothing new to really report. Baby C is still kicking away. Tim made it back safely from Utah. I can't believe next weekend is the 4th of July already.

29 weeks

I passed!!

I passed my 3 hour glucose test today...thank God!! It took 3.5 hours and 4 viles of blood, but I did it. I'm so happy I don't have to worry about that anymore. Now we just have to wait 10-12 more weeks to meet our little man.

7 Months

Glucose Test

Yesterday I went in for my 1 hour glucose test. First off the stuff you have to drink isn't as bad as I thought. Like everyone else, I compare it to an orange soda. Thank goodness it was cold because warm would have been nasty.

Big thanks to my mom for going to the appointment with me too. She got to hear the heartbeat and get a tour of the birthing center.

Anyways, come to find out I failed my 1 hour test. I needed to have a 140 and got a 142. So tomorrow morning I have an appointment to get my 3 hour test (yes 3 hours!!). They draw my blood every every and I have to fast for 12 hrs before. I'm going to be starving going into this appointment. If I pass I'm in the clear, if I fail then I'll get diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I only pray that I pass. After doing some research on it last night I'm a little freaked out. I'de have to go on a special diet, test my blood sugar several times a day and maybe even receive insulin shots. I think that's worst case scenario though.

I'll keep you updated on how it goes tomorrow. I also plan on updating tonight with pictures from my brothers wedding over the weekend.

I'm getting dumber by the day

Pregnancy brain is true and I'm getting dumber as we speak.

First, I sent an anniversary card to friends of ours over the weekend thinking their anniversary was June 14. Yeah, it's actually on July 14. Oops....

Second, I wrote the heating bill out to the cable company this morning. On my way to work I was thinking to myself how cheap our cable was this month and then it dawned on me.

Hope I get over this soon because who knows what else I'm capable of doing.

27 weeks...sorry it's late

I apologize to the regular readers that my post is late. I blame it on all of the fresh air that I got over the weekend making me go to bed at 8:45 pm last night!!

Here I am at 27 weeks not looking to hot, but you get the point. I blame this look on the heat and humidity.

You'll notice that my arms and face are tan, but my belly is pastey white. Just making sure that I don't hurt the little one while trying to get some color.

Crib is in

That's right folks, the crib is finally in and looks great. It was quite the task putting it together and then getting the bedding on. We have so much to learn as first time parents. Here are some pictures.

P.S. Registered at Target today too. Got there nice and early so there was hardly anyone in the store.

100 Days

That's how many days I have left of this pregnancy. So excited to be down to the double digits tomorrow.

Tim's brother is dropping our crib off Saturday so that will be our weekend chore. Excited to finally get some things together in the nursery.

Had my dress alterations yesterday for my brothers wedding on June 20. The seamstress was very optimistic about making me not look like a moo moo. I got back again next week to try it on.
